Trap Trivia

Trap Trivia | Themed Trivia Nights

We realized people love escaping rooms, but not everyone’s ready to commit to ninety minutes of puzzle panic.

So we built TrapTrivia: themed trivia nights hosted at breweries and private events where you answer questions, solve puzzles, and break into lockboxes all under pressure.

Teams show up thinking they know their trivia. They learn real fast that TrapTrivia questions are designed by people who have strong opinions about how clever you think you are.

Every themed night (Friends, Game of Thrones, whatever fandom you’re genuinely unhinged about) hits different because the stakes are lower but the competition is somehow more vicious. You’ll probably come back. Everyone does.

Trap Trivia: Our Impact

We Created an Entry Point to the Trapology Ecosystem
We noticed a gap: people wanted competitive, collaborative experiences but didn’t all want to be locked in a room. So we built TrapTrivia to hit that same nerve. It became our way of proving that Trapology isn’t about rooms. It’s about bringing people together through challenges that make them feel alive.

We Proved the Model is Infinitely Scalable
We’ve hosted TrapTrivia at breweries, nonprofit fundraisers, private corporate events, and everything in between. Every venue type works. Every theme lands. Every iteration sells out. We don’t just make trivia nights. We make trivia nights that people actually want to show up for.

We Built a Fully Customizable System
From PG-friendly Friends-themed evenings to full R-rated situations, we control the entire vibe. A nonprofit wants family-friendly? We do that. A bachelor party wants chaos? We do that too. The fact that we can pivot from Game of Thrones to a corporate team building without breaking a sweat means our system is actually bulletproof.

We Created Repeat Customers Through Rotating Themes
People come for Friends trivia in March. They come back for Game of Thrones in May. They book a custom theme for their company offsite in September. We’ve turned casual trivia nights into a reason people keep coming back to Trapology all year.

We Proved Trivia Drives Real Revenue
Unlike escape rooms with fixed capacity limits, TrapTrivia runs consistently at breweries and events. Multiple shows per week. Recurring bookings. Nonprofit partnerships. This wasn’t a side project. It became a legitimate revenue stream that diversifies what Trapology can offer.

We Built Community Without Walls
TrapTrivia doesn’t require our physical space. It exists in breweries, in conference rooms, in nonprofit ballrooms. We expanded Trapology’s reach beyond 177 Tremont St and into the entire Boston ecosystem.
