Y3K: PBS & GBH, STEM-based engineering puzzle adventure
A four-night live hybrid escape room produced with PBS NOVA and GBH, where in-studio players and a global Twitch and YouTube audience teamed up to solve STEM-based engineering puzzles and prevent an AI meltdown set in the year 2099.

Mobile escape game for Jr. Celtics Academy
We built a compact 15-minute escape game that fit inside a 10×10 space and dropped directly into the Jr. Celtics Academy summer camp, giving kids ages 3 to 15 their first taste of puzzle-solving alongside the basketball skills they came to learn.

Spooky Immersive Theater in Salem
A fully immersive theater experience in Salem, MA spanning two floors and an outdoor space, where 65 guests per performance stepped inside a live, puzzle-driven story featuring acrobats, a sword thrower, a mentalist, and a magician to uncover the secrets of a society rumored to communicate with the dead.

Mobile Game App Design: Firefly
A prequel game to our in-person escape room. Communicate in real-time with Jamie, as you help them navigate the wicked and increasingly treacherous woods of the Bridgewater Triangle.

“Keep Your Garter Up”, an immersive theater puzzle experience
A large-scale 100-person interactive puzzle performance put guests inside a live fictional wedding where 18 actors played the bride, groom, and wedding party members. There were multiple rehearsed endings, and a VIP experience that involved a van kidnapping and breaking into a hotel room.

Cannolians, A Historical Puzzle tour around Boston’s Freedom Trail
We turned the Freedom Trail into a 1.5-hour cannoli-fueled mystery for 80 international conference attendees, sending teams of five through historic landmarks, eight live actors, and AR puzzles that had financial professionals crouched inside Paul Revere’s House looking for clues.
Murder Mystery on Cape Cod, a large scale 150 person team building activity
A two-hour murder mystery on a Cape Cod resort with nine live actors, actuarial inside jokes, and logic traps calibrated specifically to humble 95 actuaries.

WeWork, Competitive team building bake-off
Trapology partnered with WeWork to bring teams of four head-to-head in a bake-off puzzling competition that plays out like a live game show.

Trap Trivia
Trapology runs fully customizable trivia nights, from a breezy Friends-themed PG evening to a a rated-R situation, hosted anywhere from breweries to nonprofit fundraisers to private gatherings.

PAX East Speakers
Trapology Founder and CEO, Jason Loeb, has spoken at PAX EAST for the last three years about the future of escape games, battle stories, and industry trends. PAX East is a massive annual gaming convention in Boston, Massachusetts that hosts over 100,000 attendees.

PBS STEM-based live escape game on Twitch
We designed and built Y3K: Countdown to Shutdown, a multiday live escape room. Streamed on Twitch and YouTube, the real-time gaming experience invited digital audiences to solve puzzles and race to save the world from a catastrophic AI bug. Produced by our partners at GBH and NOVA (PBS).
The Bodega Boys and Senator Elizabeth Warren play Trapology’s Ghost Submarine
Trapology collaborated with Showtime’s late-night television show, “Desus and Mero”. The illustrious Bodega Boys brought Senator Elizabeth Warren with them to conquer our most challenging room, Ghost Submarine
Game Flow Consulting, The Possible Zone
We opened our doors to The Possible Zone, walking students through our design process and consulting directly on puzzle flow, story architecture, and experience strategy so their classroom concepts could become fully realized escape games.

“Space Corp” Tabletop Game
Trapology designed a fully immersive, tech-integrated space adventure for your living room. Space Corp blends physical artifacts and interactive online components into a 45 minute mission.

Game Design 101: Highschool presentation
Trapology game designers gave a presentation to a group of high school students from Brookline High. They discussed how to design an escape game, explained puzzle theory, and shared insights into the effort that goes into creating interactive experiences.

Mayor’s Youth Summit
Nearly 600 Boston teens turned out for the 2026 Mayor’s Youth Summit, a citywide celebration built to connect young people across neighborhoods and put them face to face with city leaders. Trapology’s 10 minute puzzle game became one of the day’s most popular stops.
