To our Trapology Family,
We are living in unique and trying times. As this period of uncertainty extends, I’ve struggled to find an appropriate way to communicate with you and decided that the only way to do so is openly and honestly.
We are a small, bootstrapped Boston brand, and it has been a rough few weeks.
All of us are spending our days at home like the rest of you. Video meetings, hangouts, and virtual game nights have now become our new norm, and we’ve done our best to maintain our regular routines, schedules, and a healthy sense of humor.
Neighbors have left baked goods on doorsteps, families have bridged generational gaps, lost connections restored as we now find more time for reflection, new ones established as we seek guidance through this, and I’ve now been Rickrolled more times than I can count.
Everyone is keen to return to the way things were, and yet I see a world that won’t. Forever changed and strengthened communities have all pulled closer together through this.
For now, we will continue to remain closed to the public until we can responsibly open again. We have changed the way we do many things in ways that I know you’ll love. We’re continuing our work on designing and developing new games so that we can welcome you back with these experiences when we can once again open our doors.
All of us at Trapology are immensely grateful and thankful for your support all these years.
Our team takes a lot of pride in running unique experiences and have also had incredible opportunities to work with amazing people and organizations because of your support. We will never take it for granted, and we will continue to work to keep earning your support.
We will be coming through this stronger than we were before. Trapology is not going anywhere, and when we do open our doors again, I promise that I’ll be at that door (next to our hand sanitizer station) to welcome you all back.
Stay safe and be well,
Jason
